Doctor of Physical Therapy and Online Rehab Coach helping active adults rebuild strength, confidence, and capacity after injury so they can train without fear and get back to doing what they love.
I help recreational lifters and postpartum moms understand their bodies better so they can train confidently and keep moving without recurring flare-ups holding them back.
I believe your prior injuries, pregnancy, or postpartum changes shouldn't define what you're capable of. The goal isn't to avoid movement because something hurts - it's to build your body's capacity so you can move, train, and live with confidence. I believe in redefining the rehab experience by bridging the gap between rehab & performance- moving beyond simply feeling better to building the strength, resilience, & trust you need to get back to doing the things you love.
Progress is regaining confidence & trust in what your body is capable of. It's doing something that used to scare you without thinking twice. It's understanding that pain isn't a setback or a sign that your damaged, but often a signal that the demands you're placing on your body are exceeding its current capacity. I'll know I've done my job when you have the knowledge to understand your body, tools to manage flare-ups, and confidence to eventually take ownership of your training.
Working with me starts with a kickoff call, where you share your story - your goals, abilities, history, & the activities you want to get back to. From there, you'll complete a comprehensive movement screen so we can see how you move & where we can build capacity. Together, we build a specific strength & performance program around your goals. I'll help you understand the "why" behind your training, make adjustments, & progressively challenge you. I'll be in your corner every step of the way.
I'm a Doctor of Physical Therapy with a background in orthopedic and pelvic floor rehab. I've seen firsthand how people can finish PT feeling better, yet still feel unsure about how to progress their training or fully trust their bodies. That's why I'm passionate about redefining the rehab experience. I combine my background in rehabilitation with purposeful training--moving beyond simply feeling better to building a body you can trust and the confidence you need to keep moving forward.
